
Wesley Llado, CFA
Vice President, Private Wealth Management & Associate Director of Research, and a Member of FLI's Investment Committee
Wesley joined First Long Island Investors in 2014. He is a member of the Investment Committee, actively contributing to the sub-committees for each of our strategies. His responsibilities include conducting research and analysis on potential holdings, as well as ongoing analysis of existing holdings and macroeconomic trends. His analytical approach emphasizes bottom-up research, while considering the broader economic environment, long-term secular growth trends, and valuation to develop a comprehensive perspective on portfolio management.
Wes is part of the client relationship team that examines a client’s allocation and makes recommendations for adjustment based on client needs as well as macro factors. Wes handles client-specific trading needs and is part of the team responsible for trading within FLI’s strategies. He also monitors all call positions for FLI’s hedged growth strategy.
Wes serves on the Board of Directors for the Lanihun–Anderson Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting financial literacy and empowering individuals from underrepresented communities.
Wes graduated Cum Laude from Lehigh University with a B.S. in Finance. He is a CFA® charter holder and a member of the CFA Society Dallas-Fort Worth. Wes enjoys the sport of basketball and pushing his car to the limit on racetracks.
