Simon Ferris
Junior Investment Analyst
Simon Ferris joined First Long Island Investors in 2025 as a Junior Investment Analyst and is a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. In his role, Simon supports the Investment Committee by providing research and analytical insights to aid in the investment decision-making process.
Simon is actively developing his expertise in investment analysis, assisting with research on companies, industries, and broader economic factors that may impact client portfolios. He also monitors portfolio performance, tracks results against benchmarks, and helps identify potential risks or deviations. Additionally, Simon contributes to trade execution and supports various activities related to client accounts.
Simon earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Finance from the University of Miami, where he was recognized on both the Provost’s Honor Roll and the Dean’s List. He has a strong passion for capital markets and economics and is currently expanding his knowledge through the CFA® Program as a Level 1 candidate.
Simon loves traveling, trying new foods, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.
